Kale and Stuffing Strata

This is a simple and delicious way to use eggs this holiday season with a Kale and Stuffing Strata recipe. Use up any leftovers from the holidays to make this kale heavy make ahead recipe.

  • 4 cups cooked stuffing (or dressing,
  • 1 cup cooked meat (turkey, ham, sausage, etc.)
  • 2 cups torn kale leaves, packed
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 1 cup heavy (whipping) cream
  • 1 cup milk
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup chopped mixed fresh herbs (chives, parsley, cilantro, oregano, etc.)
  • 1 tsp kosher salt
  • 1/2 tsp ground black pepper


  1. Preheat oven to 350° F. Grease an 8 x 8 casserole or other similar sized ovenproof dish.

  2. In a large bowl whisk together eggs, whipping cream, milk, garlic, and fresh herbs. Add leftover stuffing and toss to coat. Let sit for 15-20 minutes for stuffing to absorb liquid.

  3. Add cooked meat and kale, tossing to blend into stuffing mixture. Season with salt and pepper.

  4. Place in casserole dish and bake for 50-60 minutes.

  5. Let stand for 10 minutes before serving.
