Ingredients

  • 2 long English cucumbers
  • 2 tbsp finely chopped dill
  • 2-4 tsp granulated sugar*
  • 4 tbsp white wine vinegar

Instructions

  1. Slice cucumbers using a sprializer (discarding aka eating the seeds that aren't used) or thinly slice cucumbers and drain (see post notes above).

  2. In a large bowl, mix together sugar and vinegar, stirring until sugar dissolves. Add dill and stir in.

  3. Add cucumbers to bowl and gently toss to coat in dressing.

  4. Serve immediately (see notes in blog post above on keeping salad fresh).

Recipe Notes

* we like our vinaigrettes very tangy in our house so we only use 2 tsp of sugar. If your house prefers more mild vinaigrettes I'd go with the 4 teaspoons of sugar.
