Ingredients

  • 2 medium ruby red grapefruits
  • 2 medium navel oranges
  • 2 medium Cara Cara oranges*
  • 2 medium blood oranges**
  • 1 medium lime, zest only
  • 2 tbsp very thinly sliced fresh mint leaves optional
  • 2 tbsp pomegranate arils optional

Instructions

  1. Using a sharp paring knife, remove peel and white pith from grapefruits and oranges. Working over a medium bowl that you'll use for serving, cut between membranes to release orange and grapefruit segments. Be sure to squeeze any remaining juice from the peel, pith and membranes into the bowl. This extra juice marinates the flavours together well.

  2. Top with lime zest and any other desired garnishes.

Recipe Notes

* Cara Cara Oranges can be replaced with regular navel oranges in a pinch.

** Blood Oranges can be replaced with regular navel oranges in a pinch.

*** Salad will keep 2-3 days in a sealed container in the fridge without the garnishes. The flavours blend together nicely when made a day or two before.
