Let’s do this; let’s make Easter incredibly hands off and sensationally tasty … deal? EASY 4 ingredient Mustard Ham with easy potato and a side salad ideas. Easter Ham – Easy Like Sunday Morning without a doubt!

Easter should be easy like Sunday morning. The last thing anyone wants hovering over their head is what to make for family gathering Easter dinner.
You either have an egg hunt for countless kids to organize, or you have countless mini chocolate eggs to unwrap from their foil. Everyone’s got stuff on their plate.

I use minimal, but very flavourful ingredients to get this ham into the oven and cooking.
Mustard, wine (or lemon juice), and olive oil are all it takes to send this ham into tasty town and make it fitting for the Easter Ham title.

I paired it with really easy potatoes that cook while the ham is cooking and a simple arugula salad.
The entire meal is made in around 45 minutes, but at least half of that is hands off time (because those chocolate eggs aren’t going to unwrap themselves).

The ham can easily serve 6-8 people, making it great for leftovers and repurposed (like adding to a quick pasta with peas or used in sandwiches).

The last time I made this ham I got 2 full meals out of it and then lunch for me and my 3 girls.
I’ve got instruction for the Rosemary Potatoes and Arugula and Pear Salad (shown in photo below) over on Peaks and Harbours (sadly now defunct).

How to buy a ham? I buy the smoked pre-cooked hams which are pretty common in most grocery stores (usually found near the bacon). I also prefer to buy nitrate-free hams, but this is by no means a requirement for this recipe, it’s just a personal choice.
Would prefer a turkey on Easter? I still make this Rosemary Turkey. And this Garlic Rosemary Pork Roast is not to be missed.

EASY 4-Ingredient Ham is perfect for any celebration and is so hands off, it could even be made for Sunday Supper with leftovers to get you through the week!
- 3-4 lbs (1.3-1.8 kilograms) smoked ham (old fashioned, boneless)
- 2 tbsp grainy mustard
- 2 tbsp white wine (or lemon juice)
- 1 tbsp olive oil
-
Preheat oven to 400° F. Line a baking tray or roasting pan with parchment paper or foil and place ham on top. Using a sharpe knife, cut into ham about 1/4″ (no need to be exact) in a criss-cross pattern, spacing about 10 cm between lines.
-
In a small bowl whisk together mustard, white wine (or lemon juice), and olive oil. Pour mixture over ham, covering skin.
-
Bake for 35-40 minutes.
Enjoy! xo
