Refreshing and Easy White Wine Spritzer! 3 simple ingredients make this cocktail a delicious afternoon or cocktail party sipper.

Nothing beats the first cold sip of a white wine spritzer. Cold, crisp, and 100% refreshing.
I have nothing on a great glass of wine. I love wine (as most of you know). I also love sipping on a cocktail for the length of a long afternoon without repercussion the next day.

We have “Happy Hour” most Friday late afternoon and into the evening on our street. It started as a way to keep the younger kids connected and let them play before dinner, but now we’ve morphed into dinner together and catching up after the busy weeks we all inevitably have.
The issue comes with drinking wine for 5-9 hours straight … okay, that issue is usually a problem the next day. While I love having a nice glass of wine and being social, I don’t love ruining my next day.
I love buying a very affordable white wine and topping it with crisp cold club soda for a lower calorie and refreshing cocktail that can let me sip the week away and not feel any aftermath the next morning.
What is a wine spritzer?
A wine spritzer is made up of wine and club soda or sparkling water. The best spritzers are extremely cold. I usually drop my club soda into the freezer for 20-30 minutes before I open it to make sure I’m getting the coldest white wine spritzer.
I like adding a segment of lemon rind (any citrus will work: lime, orange, grapefruit, etc.) so that my glass is distinguishable and so that no one randomly (and kindly) tops it up with straight white wine.

Nice!! Club soda has come a long way and it’s great to have those extra options!

Hello,
The perfect drink. I love adding flavored club soda to my spritzers 🙂
Me too! 🙂
Thanks for recipe. Can you give me an idea of proportions I want want to put this in a drink dispenser at a party? If I use 2 bottles of wine, how much soda would I use? Plz let me know.
Thanks!
Hi there. Based on a 750 ml bottle of wine (times 2), you’d need 472 ml of soda. If that’s confusing, per 750 ml bottle of wine you need 236 ml of soda 🙂 The ingredients should be very cold for ultimate tastiness. Let me know if you have any more questions.

Hi Kristin! I sent a response above yesterday to your question. Cheers!
I’m searching for a drink to make this weekend. This one is a winner! Looks so refreshing!
Hope you get to enjoy it! It’s a breeze to make and completely refreshing like you mentioned.
I don’t drink alcoholic beverages, but I can say that this drink recipe is delicious, especially adding soda into it.
I am going to share this with my sister as she loves making drink recipes for her friends.
Hope she and her sisters enjoy (responsibly) !
I’m looking for a way to have less alcohol going into my system. This sounds like a tasty slow delicious light buzz.
It’s a very refreshing beverage as well.
What’s nice about adding sparkling water or club soda to wine/drink, the bubbles add to the “buzz” without the extra alcohol. Kinda fun and tricks the brain a little bit. Cheers!!!
Love that glass! Any info on who makes it? I’ll be trying this spritzer this week now that our temps are going into the 80s.
Hi, the glass is from CB2, I believe it is the “Muse” White Wine glass. Hope you enjoy the spritzer and stay cool, that’s warm!
