2017 has arrived and with it some big goals for my little family. I’d love to do better with food. I won’t label it “clean eating” as I find that term of phrase silly and totally hurtful towards anyone eating in any other fashion. What I’d like to do better with is eat less processed foods, have less wasteful packaging in the house, less sugar for my kids, and more fresh, nutritionally dense food. Back-to-school season is in fully swing and nothing makes my momma heart more full than knowing my kids are getting all their essential vitamins and minerals (hello first year of school colds!). Since I have 3 kids, all 3 and under, my life is high paced and regularly leaves me feeling as though I could be offering more sources of fruits and vegetables to myself and my kids. All I know is I picked puzzles with the kids instead of prepping for the week ahead 🤷🏻‍♀️ I’ll catch up tomorrow 🤞🏻.

This 4-Ingredient Green Smoothie gets a bucket loa This 4-Ingredient Green Smoothie gets a bucket load of spinach into our diets before we leave the house for school and work. It's one of my long time smoothies that I make for my kids. 

We've had it a few days in a row now to help us hit reset in the new year. 

The omega oil is optional and I sometimes switch out the banana for a navel orange for a different flavour profile. Oh and if you're an Orange Julius fan, try a 1/2 tsp of vanilla extract - you won't regret it!
